College Can be Pizza
Edison Community College invites our students over for an introduction to college campus life. The students attend a general session where they are given information about programs. A highlight of the general session is hearing from a few Edison student ambassadors about what it was like for them deciding to enroll there. Edison was not the first choice for many of the ambassadors but it was the choice that made the most financial sense. Attending Edison enabled some students to keep their current jobs or avoid having to pay rent by continuing to live with parents.
Our students toured the campus and visited some Edison classrooms for activities. The visit concluded with a pizza lunch. Notice the good manners of the Computer Information Technology students as they avoid the temptation to pile their plates high while moving efficiently along the line so their hungry fellow students can be quickly served.
